description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Aerial-imagery mosaic for Polk County, 2023, RGBN natural color, 6-inch resolution. This is an ArcGis raster mosaic dataset, with overviews, covering all of Polk County, flown between December 14, 2022 and February 26, 2023. Consists of 2,410 tiles organized in a 10000-ft tiling scheme at 6,100 ft altitude, with 6-inch cell size, formatted as 8-bit 4-band RGBN TIFF. Projection of the tiled images is state plane, Florida west zone, 1983(2011), US feet. The projection of the mosaic is state plane, Florida east zone, 1983-HARN, US feet.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Digital orthophotography produced from new aerial photography captured as close as possible after December 14, 2022 as requested by the Florida Department of Revenue's Office. Acquired imagery took place between December 14, 2022 and February 26, 2023 and is in 4 band, RGB and Near Infrared, 8 bit per channel for 32 bit format. This image data set of 6 inch resolution covers the entire counties of Charlotte, Citrus, DeSoto, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota and Sumter, plus a very small perimeter buffer. It also includes partial counties of Highlands, Lake, and Levy.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Aircraft was deployed to Northern Florida in mid December 2022 for digital image acquisition during a requested time frame. A Cessna Conquest equipped with a Leica ADS100(Digital Mapping Camera) captured 4 band imagery over the entire project area of interest. Imagery was captured at an altitude of 6,100' above mean terrain, not allowing for cloudy conditions.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Image processing: Four bands (rgb natural color and color infrared) of raw camera data were processed by Surdex using Leica X Pro software coupled with Surdex proprietary image handling software for color correction and dodging.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Post processing of Airborne and Ground GPS data was performed with Waypoint Consulting's GrafNav software. Aerial Triangulation was completed using Leica X Pro Automatic Triangulation and rectification of imagery to the DEM was completed using Surdex proprietary software</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
