Description: Flood Prone Areas are locations with recurrent flood occurrence associated with rainfall, storm surge, tidal, and compound flooding. Areas shown are preliminary and were compiled based on available historical documentation of flood occurrence dating back to 1991. These areas will be further refined as more information becomes available and will eventually be replaced with flood extents defined from a combination of high water marks and remotely sensed data.
