The SFWMD was divided into 14 rainfall forecast areas in 1999 for water management operations purposes. Rainfall frequency analysis were performed for these areas are documented in Ali, A and W. Abtew. 1999. Regional Rainfall Frequency Analysis for Central and South Florida, </SPAN><A href="https://apps.sfwmd.gov/sfwmd/gsdocs/TPubs/WRE-380.PDF"><SPAN>Technical Publication WRE #380. South Florida Water Management District. West Palm Beach, Florida</SPAN></A><SPAN>. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The analyses performed for these forecast areas provide monthly, seasonal (dry and wet), and annual representative rainfall statistics and frequency estimates for each area. The results of the analyses are presented in tables and figures included in the Technical Publication Appendices. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
