Includes the NOAA 3-nm &quot;nearshore&quot; boundary and the NOAA 12-nm &quot;offshore&quot; boundary. </span></p><p><span style='font-size:16px;'><u>SFWMD Buffer and County Buffer Areas</u></span></p><p></p><p><span style='font-size:16px;'>These are used in map, geoprocessing, and feature services for SFWMD software applications. The county buffer is produced from the AdminBndy3 feature class from the NAVTEQ dataset. Islands were removed to produce a one polygon per county feature class. Also, a 5 Mile buffer has been added to the shorelines. The feature class includes County names and County FIPS. The SFWMD buffer area feature class has a single polygon representing the jurisdictional extent of the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) with a buffered coastline.   </span></p></div></div><div style='font-size:12pt;'><br /></div></div>
