This digital elevation model was compiled from 2018 Florida Peninsular Project, recent USGS 3D Elevation Program (3DEP), NOAA Bathymetric Continuously Updated Digital Elevation Model Tiles, USGS High Accuracy Elevation data, USACE Lake Okeechobee bathymetry, and other best available data sources for Miami-Dade and Tribal Reservations. It is a bare earth representation of ground elevations. Exceptions include hydro-flattened waterbodies, permanently or semi-permanently flooded areas where LiDAR sensors are unable to detect ground due to a number of factors. For source collection extents and metadata, please consult the SF_NAVD88_CollectionMetadata feature class.
